Disease prevention is imperative and the most common illnesses can  be easily avoided. In a country like Cambodia where 74 percent of deaths occur due to waterborne diseases, it is essential that preventative measures be put in place in order to give the children the best possible opportunities for survival and development.

Therefore, this programme helps the children by providing six month medical and dental checks. Health care professionals also educate children about hygiene, safety and illness prevention techniques.
